My journey started back in 2018 when I started learning programming. I attended a free online course where all the basics are taught. The idea was to check whether I would like it or not. I had no CS background or study so it was crucial to check if I would like doing it for a living. I got the basics quickly and started looking for apprenticeship.

This is the company where I got my apprenticeship and after got hired as a junior software developer. The company has an expertise in developing software for railing systems and communication software for airports. I had the chance there to have a mentor that showed me a lot of tips and tricks in building software. I was part of a team that develops a web ui for managing/configuring remote communication terminals for the Bulgarian air force.

Endava was the first international company I worked for. I joined it with little to none TypeScript and some React knowledge. I started learning from the team. They had a great process of delivering promised features to the client on time and with best of quality. Also the team was bigger therefore more code to look at and learn from. This is the place where I shifted from writing some code that just works to code that is also easy to understand, more efficient and followed more of the best practices in software development. The domain of the project was in online currency exchange.

Bosch is a great company to work for! Excellent work-life balance, a lot of benefits and huge international team with many smart people. I work in a small team of 5 in a project where we develop a UI configurator for one of the products Bosch offers. We are going to expand it for more than one product. Since I joined, we now have a common coding style(using prettier, lint and husky), library for reusable UI components(React components), better CI/CD pipeline(revised the previous flow), better process of release and deploy. These are the areas I mainly contribute in.
